Family Child Care Grant Application for ALICE Healthcare Workers, First Responders and Level Up Participants
Lake Area United Way can help you pay for child care while funding is available. First come, First served.
Residents of East Chicago, Gary, and Hammond, Indiana are priority. Family Child Care Grant recipients must be a (1) healthcare worker, (2) first responder, or (3) participant in the Lake Area United Way Level Up program. Level Up participants are employed and actively working toward goals to obtain a livable wage job. All grant awardees must meet certain income guidelines.
If you are not currently a Level Up participant, but you would like to become one, please continue to fill out the application. A Lake Area United Way Family Career Navigator will call you.
